So who am I?

I am a born and bred local. After school I completed a "Fitter & Turner" Apprenticeship with the then Australian National Railways. I completed the apprenticeship and stayed with them for a couple of years before taking a payout. From here I then completed study at TAFE for certificate 3 in Information Technology. I also studied Visual Basic Programming. Not too long after this I was lucky enough to get into a joint TAFE/University training course offered in Whyalla. This gave me Certificate 4 in IT. It was with this certification I was able to gain employment with our local Office National. Here I gained training in Office Equipment Maintenance. Whilst employed at Office National I have gained Microsoft and Cisco certifications. For the last 16+ years I have remained at Office National and I am now the Technical Services Manager. Throughout these years I have had extensive experience in many areas. I have listed some of these below.

Complete Network/Domain Design and Deployment including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, ISA, RRAS, and more.
Experiance on Servers, Desktops, Laptops, Notebooks, Tablets, Scanners, etc
I have worked on IBM, Lenovo, Dell, HP, Acer, Leader, and other generic brands.
OS optimization with Virus/Malware removal, Tempory file cleanup, Defragmentation and advanced fault finding.
Offline OS recovery, Registry repairs, Customized Backup/Recovery creation, Data recovery.
Computer Harware Repairs/Replacement including upgrades (HDD, RAM, LCD's, Mainboards, VGA Cards, etc)
Experience with Microsoft OS from DOS and including Win95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP, Win7, 8, 8.1, and 10 (Since Tech Preview)
Experience with Microsoft Server OS from 2000 upto and including 2012
Experience with NON Microsoft OS including Linux and Netware
Experience with routing and VPN on Servers and Routers(Cisco and HP) Smart switch management.
Experience with Databases from Access, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL.
Application development with VB6, VB.net, Asp.net. I have created fully function Callmanagemnt System for Office National.
Experience with Printers, Photocopiers, Multifunctions, ATM's, Checkouts, Point of Sale hardware. Printer types including Laser, Inkjet, Wax, Image Film, and Dotmatrix.
Worked on Canon, Brother, HP, Kyocera, Lexmark, Fuji Xerox, and more
Shredders, Laminators, Folding Machines, EFTPOS, and more.
And so much more! If its IT related there is a good chance I have worked on it!
